Oh boy can I tell you I am sore. I barely have enough strength to write this. I have been doing sparkpeople.com I love this site because it helps you with everything weight loss and living a healthy lifestyle. It actually demonstrates the exercises so that you do them right. Plus, there is a food tracker and message boards and articles and all kinds of little goodies.
I absolutely am feeling the burn this morning. Since I have dropped caffeine and started exercising I have dropped 15 lbs. And that is with every Tues night eating whatever they have at FAST. Although for the most part I skip the dessert. Which I have to provide tonight. I really need to remember that.
They have teams that you can join and one of my teams is Daily Challenge. I love this group it is a small group and we are walking across the US. But, the daily challenge for today was to tell 3 people about your adventure with Sparkpeople. So, I figured at least that many read my blog, so why not get the word out here.
I have over 100 lbs to loose. To be exact I have 132lbs to loose. (I had to get the calculator out for that one). I am setting mini goals though that way I don’t sabatoge myself. I have a tendency to do that if I set the bar too high. So, I met first 2 goals which was to give up my caffeine. And to tell you the truth I don’t miss my dr. pepper. I feel better and that was only cutting that out. And my second goal was to loose 15lbs and I have reached that goal also. I drink oodles of water a day. My minimum is 10 bottles. Which I hit before the afternoon. And I am talking the big Dasani bottles. No, I don’t buy it I just refill it from the tap. I really enjoy drinking it. I didn’t at first but, I do now.
Jinkies, my arms feel like rubber today. lol. I did the shoulder shrugs Stacy told me about. She said it got her neck well, it is affecting my arms and fingers. lol
But, anyway, just wanted to tell you about the program and it’s benefits to me. Check it out you might like it.
OH YEAH!! A big plus, it is 100% free. Now, how can you beat that???

Way to go Bobbi! I too have much to lose & and am feeling a bit of soreness from my workout also! Kudos on the water, I am doing a lot better at drinking it. I have also joined Sparkpeople last week & it helps with the extra motivation. Keep up the good work!

I’m so proud of you for taking this big step.
I’ve been working out to lose weight as well. Today will be my hard workout day where I really up the amount of weight that I have to move on the machines. I also want to walk/jog a mile today.
I have been doing Sparkpeople for little over a year now!!!!I love it too…I have lost almost 40 pounds….You can do this…One step at a time!!!!Good Luck…..
