My hubby lost a part of himself today….

Yep, he lost his appendics today. He has been sick for the past 3 days and we thought it was food poisoning at first. But, he just kept getting sicker and he kept having stabbing pains in his stomach. So, I made him go to the ER last night. And it was appendicitis. That little pesky thing doesn’t have a purpose really, but, when it acts up it can make you sooooo sick. So, this morning about 7:30, they took it out. Me and big Stacey got there as soon as they rolled him back in from recovery. I couldn’t get there until later, because he took the vehicle to get there and I had no way there, so, my bestest friend took me up there. I really love her and don’t know what I would do without her. Thanks Stace…

He did very well, and was really dazed and confused coming out of the anesthesia but, he is doing really good now. If he can keep food down tomorrow he can come home. Which knowing his stomach of steel he will be able to. Then he has the next 3 weeks off of work, only because he has a 2 week shut down starting next week. When I broke the news to him that he wouldn’t be able to eat until tomorrow he looked so upset, poor guy. He loves his food.

Mikayla misses her daddy. He isn’t ever not here and she is really upset about it. Tomorrow morning I am going to take her up there to see him and see about what time he can come home. He was really sore before I was leaving there earlier and he was afraid to ask for pain medication. What is it with guys?? So, I went and asked for him. He got redoped up and was out.

Could you please pray for piece of mind for him because I know he is going to freak out about the not being able to work thing. He stresses out about the bills. We’ll be fine but, he can’t see past the no check for 3 weeks. And please pray that his pain isn’t to great. He already has bad back pain from having 2 disks removed and that pain on top of surgery pain well, it is probably going to be pretty painful for him.

Thanks so much.
