Getting to know me survey…

I did this by special request from Wounded Lily It was a lot of fun to come up with the questions and it is little goofy and some serious things that I would want to know about someone. I guess you could say it is a mish mash of stuff. I hope you enjoy! And please join in on the fun!

How did you come up with your blog name? My Life Crazy as it May Seem? Because my life is crazy to some but to me it is just normal. Ok, almost normal because most of us know who the only normal one is. Maybe one day we can achieve her normalness.

What is a cause closest to your heart? And if you want to let us know why.
Prematurity and infant mortality. I think most people that read this already know why. If not, then look up the post on JT.

Do you or have you ever homeschooled? Yes I have

What was the biggest challenge homeschooling? Getting them to do there work. Actually I have two the other one would be not just jumping up and leaving to do something when there was work to be done.

What was your most favorite moment while HS? The time that I got to spend with my children and when they finally after much blood sweat and tears got something.

If you could do it all again would you? Absolutely

Do you like to bake or cook? I like to do both but, I am not good at either of them.

What is your most favorite thing to bake or cook?I love to cook stuff that has to do with chopping and sauteing (sp). I love to pretend I am Rachel Ray. I love to bake things off of CC’s and Pioneer woman’s sites. Without those two I wouldn’t know how to do much of anything with food.

What is a kitchen appliance that you could not live without? I would say a kitchen aid mixer but, since I don’t have one. And oh boy do I want one. I would have to say my knife. It is pretty, it is a chef’s knife and I couldn’t cut stuff without it.

What color is your kitchen done in? Or is it just a mish mash of this or that?
My kitchen is done in what ever. I think it is white. Yep, it is. I have no theme. Unless you count clutter as one.

If you could live anywhere no cost involved where would you live? In the middle of the country. Maybe in Montana. Not sure but, Montana sounds rugged and romantic

What size house would you live in? A big rambling farmhouse.

Do you plant a garden? I did this summer.

If you do what do you plant? Cucumbers and pumpkins by accident. The pumkins were an accident. The cucumbers weren’t lol.

What is your favorite bible verse? why? Ephesians 4:4-6 4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Because after having so many JW and Mormans and others coming to my door trying to confuse me, one day I turned to this verse and you know what? It is straightforward and just smacked me in the forehead.

Do you take notes during church? Exstensive.

Do you highlight your bible and write little notes in the margin? absolutely

What is one of your favorite Christian blogs to visit? or if you have more you can add them. I think my favorite is Lysa Terkeurst and a lot of the other P31 blogs.

Do you think this is too long and has too many categories? I like the variety actually.

One more:

If you were stranded on a deserted island what three things would you take with you? My bible, pictures of my children, and tacos.

If you would like to tag someone then go ahead. I am not going to put a number on here because well, I can’t think of a good one. lol.

I am tagging Woundedlilly .

Come on people’s jump in and let us know about you!!

My Dear Friends…

I had the priviledge of being a part of a forum. This wasn’t your run of the mill forum either. This was a group of homeschooling mommies that I still to this day can’t believe I found. I have no way to tell them thank you for all the support they gave me during our time with JT. They loved him, prayed for him, celebrated his ups and downs with me. I could go there and just let it all out and knew without a shadow of a doubt they would be there with me to help with their encouraging words and prayers. This is a special group of ladies. We could talk about everything even that infamous post that was 100’s of responses long on toilet paper. You really had to be there to understand. The dancing chickens, the support, the help with curriculmn reviews and even algebra help. It was awesome. While the group is no longer together on the forum because as with all good things it has ended but, not before we have made such wonderful friendships and I do believe it is because of Donna starting that forum that we found a safe haven on this big ole internet. A place that we could go to and not be judged. We are all a circle of friends and I can’t wait until the day I can look each and every one of them in the face and tell them thank you. Thank you for being with me in my darkest hour and thank you for rejoicing with me in a life that was so short but, oh so loved. So, this one is for you my DY friends, you held me up with your prayers and your encouraging words. No words can ever express how I feel about you all and all that you have done for our family.
